Returns & Refunds

The vast majority of orders at Sinister Boutique are delivered without a hitch, but understandably things go wrong and you may need to arrange a return. This page should help you determine what's covered. Please read this page carefully to ensure your return is handled correctly, and then contact us at admin@sinister.co.nz

The item I received is not the item I ordered
Provided the item is unopened and in mint condition, we will replace it with the correct item or provide a refund. Please notify Sinister Boutique within 7 days of delivery to arrange its return. We will process your replacement or refund once we receive your return.

The item I ordered was damaged in transit
If your item was damaged between leaving Sinister Boutique and arriving at your delivery address please notify Sinister Boutique within 7 days of delivery. Courier Post will collect the damaged order from your address, this includes the satchel it arrived in and all packaging material. Once Courier Post accepts the claim we will process a refund or replacement. 

The item I ordered was faulty or didn't work as intended
Please courier the item to Sinister Boutique for testing. If we confirm that the item is faulty it will be replaced by Sinister Boutique and a refund will be provided for returning the item to us (please retain courier receipt). A refund may also be offered in some circumstances.

I've changed my mind and no longer want the item I ordered
Change of mind returns can be processed as long as the item is unopened, in mint condition and we are notified within 7 days of delivery.  The shipping for the return will be at the cost of the buyer. Once we have the item in hand we will assess the item and if everything checks out we will issue you a credit to spend at Sinister Boutique.
