Applied to pre-lightened ends of hair.
Originally when I used this I thought it was way too dark and it practically blended into my dark brown hair but over time with more washes it comes out a lighter and lighter burgundy/magenta which I love. Makes it perfect for someone lazy like me but if you want the dark shade you'll have to stay on top of it.
